Silver Birch at Patney Chapel
This painting is oil on canvas (25 x 35 cms) and is of the little Chapel in Patney. There is a beautiful Silver Birch on the grassy verge between the Chapel and the roadside, and this painting shows it on a blustery autumn day, when the leaves are just starting to be blown away. The picture is in a light wood frame.
Midsummer All Cannings
This painting is of All Cannings, set against a backdrop of the edge of the Marlborough Downs. The picture is oil on board (35 x 45 cms) and is mounted in a dark brown frame with a gold inside rim. This is my favourite view of the village, and is painted on a warm summers day, with the sun lighting up the church tower and the crinckly tin of the farm buildings.
Distant White Horse
I spotted this scene walking from Coate to All Cannings across the fields. The Alton Barnes White Horse is on the hills in the distance. I didn't have a camera or sketch book with me, so drew the scene on the back of a shop receipt with a stub of pencil I found in my pocket! The picture is oil on canvas (40cms x 30cms).
Cottage in the Vale
This cottage is at Alton Barnes, and is at the end of the long road stretching out beneath the Alton Barnes White Horse. The road winding over the hill leads to Wilcot, and then on to Pewsey. I've painted this scene on a summers day, with a storm building up to the east.

Winter Sun at Honey Street
Honey Street has a busy industrial history, with some of the older buildings still sitting alongside the canal. This picture has a wintery sun peeping from behind the clouds, its light reflected on the puddles in the fields. The picture is oil on canvas and is 20cms x 50 cms with a dark wood frame.
